The Dallas Model A Ford Club is excited to be hosting the 2024 Texas Tour in Nacogdoches, Texas. Nacogdoches proclaims itself as "the oldest town" in Texas with its beginning in 1776.

The 2024 Texas Tour will be hosted at the Fredonia Hotel.
The Fredonia Hotel has been a jewel of East Texas since 1955 and has become a historic destination.
Participants are responsible for booking their own accomodations. We have room blocks located at the
host hotel along with two other nearby hotels. See our Accomodations link for accomodation options.
Trailer parking will be available at an offsite location.
There are activities for everyone in the family to enjoy. Car and fashion judging is back along with mini-tours and a grand tour. Of course, there will be plenty of time to relax and mingle.

We have mini-tours lined up. Explore the streets of downtown, visit museums, and historic landmarks around town and nearby to explore at your leisure. Saturday, the grand tour will be traveling through the Davy Crockett National Forest, traveling along the El Camino Real de los Tejas to Caddo Mounds, Mission Tejas State Park, and finish at Ratcliff Lake for lunch and car games.
The 2024 Texas Tour will be a MAFCA sanction meet with judging done according to the Model A Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards.

We need certified restored class judges. Please contact us if you are able to help judge.
Fashion judging will contain both the traditional fashion modeling as well as the display only (modeless). More details to be provided soon.
Ladies will be able to earn their "Lady Drives an A" patch. This driving test is to make sure you know the basics of your Model A and what it takes to start and drive it.
The race is a great participant and spectator sport. The crowds really get involved in the runoffs and cheer for their favorites. The format is side by side racing on a three-lane track with elimination races until the age group champion is finally crowned. Some of the fiercest competition is in the 18 and over age group.
While enjoying the race, you'll be able to enjoy your own custom built ice cream sundae made with Henry's Homemade Ice Cream.
